Terms of Service
Last updated 7 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the Iron Curtain client you accept them. They are written in plain language on purpose — you should be able to tell what you agreed to without a lawyer.
1. Who you are contracting with
Iron Curtain is operated by CUPIDCOACH LLC ("Iron Curtain", "we", "us"), a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. You can reach us at support@ironcurtains.net or on +1 775-380-0974.
Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd as the merchant of record. When you buy a subscription or an item, your contract of sale is with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply alongside these terms. Everything else — your account, the service, the ladder — is between you and us.
2. What the service is
Iron Curtain is a competitive gaming platform: a desktop client, matchmaking, ranked ladders, tournaments, replays, live spectating, chat and community tools. It runs today on Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge. Counter-Strike 2 support is planned, and a game of our own is in design. Iron Curtain is a platform, not a game and not a modification of one.
We do not supply games, and we never will. Iron Curtain contains no game files. You must already own and have installed a legitimate copy of any game you play through the platform. The client locates your existing installation; it does not provide, sell or distribute one.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts Inc., Valve Corporation, or any other game publisher. Their trademarks belong to them.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.
- One person, one account. Additional accounts used to manipulate a ranked ladder are the problem we detect and act on most often.
- You are responsible for your password and for what happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it.
- Your display name is yours while your account exists. We may require a change to a name that impersonates someone, harasses someone, or is unlawful.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside the client. See the Privacy Policy for what survives deletion and why.
4. Fair play
The ladder is the product. Everything in this section exists because of a specific way ladders get ruined.
- No cheating. No modified game binaries, no memory editing, no automation, no tools that reveal information the game does not give you.
- No match fixing. No arranged results, no rating trading between accounts, no deliberate losing to manipulate a rating or a bracket.
- No multi-accounting on ranked ladders — including smurfing to farm lower-rated players.
- No abuse. Harassment, hate speech, threats and doxxing get an account removed, not a warning.
- Do not attack the platform. No attempts to disrupt matches or servers, no denial-of-service, no exploiting a defect instead of reporting it.
We enforce these with evidence: reports carry the replay, the match record and the chat log. We may suspend or permanently close an account, reverse ratings, void results, and remove tournament placements. Serious or repeated breaches can also end your access to any paid features without a refund of the current period.
5. Content you upload
You keep ownership of what you upload — maps, avatars, profile text, chat and replays. You give us a licence to host, display and distribute it inside the platform so the service can work: a map you submit is shown to other players, a replay you record is watchable, your name appears in the ladder.
Only upload things you have the right to upload. We may remove content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or breaches these terms. If you believe something on the platform infringes your rights, write to support@ironcurtains.net and we will deal with it.
6. Our own rights
The Iron Curtain name, the client, the website, the design, the written content, the rating system and the source code are our original work and remain ours. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to copy, redistribute, reverse engineer for redistribution, or build a derivative service from them, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Payments, subscriptions and virtual items
- Competing is free. Matchmaking, every ranked ladder, tournaments, replays and spectating are available without paying. Paid plans fund the platform and give cosmetic, social and advisory benefits — they do not change what happens in a game. See Pricing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes where required; Paddle handles tax.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Fire Bulbs and cosmetic items are a licence to use them inside the platform. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which does not affect your statutory rights.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep the service up and we publish its status, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you are paying for, tell us and we will put it right — see the Refund Policy.
Ratings, ladders and seasons may be recalculated where a defect or a cheating case has distorted them. We will say publicly when we do that and why.
9. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost ratings, or losses arising from another player's conduct. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Ending the agreement
You may stop using Iron Curtain and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you the reason. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund any unused paid period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will announce it on this site and in the client before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you would rather not accept, you can cancel and close your account.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes go to the courts located there. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the EEA or anywhere else with mandatory consumer protection law, you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in and you may bring proceedings there — nothing in this section takes that away from you.
Before any of that: write to support@ironcurtains.net. Nearly everything is solved that way.
